I’m moving this blog off WordPress.com and onto our own turf.

Why Change?

It’s simple. People hear about Dude of the Day on forums and other blogs and can’t find us. Let’s simplify the search for them.

What’s Changing?

Although comments about Dude of the Day have been overwhelmingly positive, I’ve received a few suggestions. People want the archives links on the side to show listings with photos. I couldn’t fix that on WordPress, but I fixed that on dudeoftheday.com. Plus I added a really cool feature that will allow you to easily scroll through the archives.

What’s Staying the Same?

Everything else. Just like before, you can expect a photo of a new dude every single day. I even moved over all previous photos and comments. You’ll be able to start posting and browsing just like before, and you’ll barely notice a difference.

Update your bookmarks and spread the word. It’s a big step for us and everyone who’s submitted a photo or written a comment. Join us over at the new Dude of the Day.
